Terms of Service

Toolhaus is a searchable directory of AI tools. You can browse and search the catalog in plain language, and vendors can claim or submit a listing for their own tool, verify it, and choose a paid plan for greater visibility. All listings are moderated to keep the catalog accurate and useful.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. When you sign up, please give accurate information and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Let us know promptly if you think your account has been compromised.

When using Toolhaus, you agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• submit false, misleading, or spammy listings, or try to manipulate search rankings or our verification process;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the catalog beyond normal personal use, or place unreasonable load on the service;
• attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the security of the site or other users’ accounts;
• upload anything unlawful, infringing, or malicious, or impersonate others.

If you claim or submit a tool, you confirm you’re authorised to represent it and that the details you provide are accurate. To protect the quality of the directory, we may review, edit, reject, unpublish, or remove any listing at our discretion — including through our takedown process. We may add removed listings to a suppression list so they aren’t recreated automatically.

Toolhaus offers paid plans — a one-time Fast-track option and an annual Plus subscription — which can grant benefits such as a verified mark, a dofollow backlink, a ranking boost, and featured placement. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page.

Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to their terms. Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We may change our prices or plan features going forward, but changes won’t affect a plan you’ve already paid for during its current term.

As a consumer in the EU, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because a paid listing benefit is a digital service that we begin providing right away, you agree that performance starts immediately and that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. Where a refund is due, it’s handled through our payment provider. Nothing here affects mandatory consumer rights you have under local law.

The Toolhaus name, brand, and the site itself (its design, code, and original content) belong to us. When you submit listing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the directory.

The tools we list, and their names, logos, and trademarks, belong to their respective owners. Listing a tool doesn’t imply any affiliation with or endorsement by us.

Toolhaus links out to third-party tools and websites that we don’t control. We provide listings for convenience and discovery; we don’t endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any third-party tool, its content, pricing, or practices. Any dealings you have with a third-party tool are between you and them.

We’re a small, independent project and we work to keep Toolhaus running well, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don’t guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.

Toolhaus and its catalog are provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work to keep listings accurate, the catalog is built partly from automated sources and may contain errors or be out of date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolhaus won’t be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and your mandatory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

You can stop using Toolhaus or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms Toolhaus or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Toolhaus is operated from within the European Union. These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the EU member state in which Toolhaus is established. This doesn’t deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above. By continuing to use Toolhaus after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
